Pollo Tropical: Art of Saucing was a project that aimed to reinvent the way food and art combine together.

With this project, four local artist; including myself were given the task to interpret Pollo Tropical sauces with a designated color palette.

I won’t lie, this project for me was a breeze as most of time, I start with a color palette first on my projects. So working with an array of colors already felt like home to me and really reminded me of the days my parents would treat me to Pollo Tropical for dinner.

Once we completed our pieces, our artwork was put on display during Miami’s iconic Calle Ocho festival and put up for auction. All proceeds went to the Young Arts Foundation, a true win-win for me as not only did I get to create but create for an amazing cause!
